natalie browne
natalie browne founded adding technology in 2001 to provide small businesses with expert accounting system design, implementation, training, and support. initially a sole proprietor, she incorporated the company in 2017.
with over 40 years in public accounting, natalie started in the 1980s at a small bookkeeping firm, mastering manual accounting systems. she also worked as an accounting manager in magazine publishing, as well as for two large accounting and tax firms. natalie’s innovative approach is strengthened by her unique perspective, unbounded by traditional college education, which allows her to think creatively and unconventionally.
she holds an AIPB certification and has been quickbooks desktop certified since 2002, achieving advanced certification in 2007. natalie is also quickbooks online advanced certified and has been recognized on insightful accountant’s top 100 proadvisor list seven times since 2015. natalie loves developing accounting systems and teaching clients how to use them, taking pride in their success.
outside of work, natalie passionately advocates for dog rescue and veterinary care for homeless pets, drawing inspiration from her own experience of living on the streets with her dog during her formative years. she enjoys reading crime dramas, british tv, and marvel and dc comics. a dedicated adventurer, natalie is always prepared for her next travel expedition, with ziplining being among her favorite activities. however, nothing brings her more joy than a road trip with her beloved dogs. she is a strong advocate for inclusion and is committed to creating a welcoming environment for all.
stacey rose
stacey rose joined adding technology in 2017 as a contract worker. she became an employee, and then a part owner in 2019. as co-owner, vice president, and operations manager, she excels in finding efficient solutions, implementing processes, and helping clients with categorization.
stacey met natalie browne almost 30 years ago at a publishing company, where natalie handled accounting and stacey worked in marketing. with a background in english and a decade-long break to raise her three children, stacey returned to the workforce by joining adding technology.
outside of work, stacey is an avid marathon runner and enjoys exploring cities, old architecture, and museums. she has three college-aged children and a beloved cat. she is a passionate music fan and travels to see her favorite bands. as a type 1 diabetic with a diabetic child, stacey raises funds for diabetes research and support. she also loves reading and writes a blog about running and type 1 diabetes.
auna berardi
auna berardi joined adding technology in september 2023 as the office manager. her role includes managing administrative tasks, business development, and accounting tasks for clients. she also creates step-by-step procedures and policy manuals and serves as the wisp ambassador.
auna enjoys the flexibility of her role, especially writing training manuals and onboarding new hires. her background includes construction project management and accounting for the largest IBEW union in california, where she also served as an attorney’s legal assistant.
outside of work, auna loves traveling, especially to central and south america, spending time with family and friends, practicing archery, and engaging in arts and crafts/diy projects.
christian williams
christian williams joined adding technology in may 2024 as a senior accounting associate. he enjoys the continuous learning in accounting, especially simplifying complex topics for clients. the flexibility to work from anywhere helps him manage the high-paced environment and deadlines.
christian graduated from the university of california, santa barbara, with a BA in economics and accounting. he spent over ten years at a large accounting firm in santa barbara, focusing on income taxes and financial statement audits, where he met natalie browne.
outside of work, christian is a father of four. he enjoys gardening, hot yoga, woodworking, home improvement projects, and playing the drums. he currently performs with a local grateful dead cover band.
